I am deeply honored to share that I have been selected as a 2024 Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Scholar. Being chosen from over 100,000 applicants is both humbling and inspiring.This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support and encouragement from my family, friends, and mentors. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to giving back to the community that has helped me reach this milestone.Thank you to the HSF for believing in my potential. The Google Latinx Student Leader Summit had not only left me inspired but changed. A moment in the summit I reflected on what it took to get here, a journey of many turns to now be seated with the top 50 students out of 1530+ applicants across the nation.The day was filled with informative workshops, great food, and most of all, great memories with the brightest of individuals. I’d like to extend my gratitude to Marisa Diaz and Kevin Melendez for the honor of selecting me to be part of an extraordinary experience. I’d also like to thank everyone who contributed to the summit. My familia, can’t forget about you. Thank you to our very own Estefania Ortiz for breaking the ice and allowing us to express ourselves with ease. Ashley Lujan, Jazmin Huerta, Alberto Doroteo-Reyes , and Gabriela Komives-Prieto . I wish you nothing but the best, you don’t need me to wish you luck cause you are already capable of great things. And finally to my vecinos, Cesar Lopez Landaverde , Alan Medina , and Abraham Morales . Thank you for making this a memorable experience. I hope to join yall soon cross my fingers.On December 15, 2023 I was hesitant on clicking to confirm my change in major to Computer Science until finally I put my finger down. Looking back at that decision, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. In this world you live for you and only you. Sometimes you are just a click away to making the best decision of your life. Thank you Google not only for this grand opportunity, but for finding myself.

Thrilled to have attended the Cultivate x Amplify event at Google Atlanta this past Friday! It was an incredible opportunity to connect with other tech enthusiasts from 13 universities and enhance our skills. Thrilled to have had the opportunity to guest speak at Dunwoody High School, discussing the college application process with the impressive chapter of the Hispanic Organization Promoting Education (HOPE). Witnessing the size of the group and understanding the significant impact they're poised to make on students' lives was truly inspiring. We even shared a moment teaching future Owls 🦉 how to do the KSU sign, embracing the spirit of Kennesaw State University. Wishing the Dunwoody Chapter nothing but success in their endeavors. Excellent work, team!
