4 Top Tips to Get the Best Red Velvet Cookies

  • Use butter and not margarine or oil. Melted butter will give these cookies an extra wonderful flavor, richness and soft texture. You can’t get that with margarine or oil in the same way.
  • Use a whole 1/4 cup of dough. Don’t skimp on the amount of dough you use to make these cookies. Crumbl cookies are huge and so when you make a copycat version they need to be too!
  • Form the dough into a disc before placing them onto the baking sheet. The dough is thick and so it is important to have them in a rough shape of the cookie you want them to bake into.
  • Don’t over bake Crumbl’s Red Velvet Cookies! This tip is the most important because the texture is everything. Bake until the cookies are set {no longer than 11 minutes}, remove them from the oven and then allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet. The residual heat from the baking sheet will continue to bake the cookies slightly and set them up perfectly.

Can you freeze Crumbl Cookies?

For the most part all Crumbl Cookies can be frozen with good results. These Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip Crumbl Cookies will freeze very well for up to 3 months and so will the Cookies and Cream Milkshake Crumbl recipe.

These Raspberry Cheesecake Crumbl Copycat Cookies might not freeze quite as well because of the cheesecake frosting.

The Best Way to Store Red Velvet Crumbl Cookies

The very best way to store most Crumbl Copycat Cookies is in an airtight container. Most of the cookies will stay longer in the refrigerator longer. These Red Velvet and White Chocolate Chip Cookies can also be kept at room temperature unlike the Raspberry Cheesecake Crumbl Copycat recipe that requires refrigeration.
